Activities
The City of Buena Park Recreation, Parks & Community Services Department offers a wide variety of recreation, sports and cultural activities, senior programs , services and events for all age groups. It is responsible for maintaining and developing all public parks & facilities as well as the Walter D. Ehlers Community Recreation Center, the Department's Administrative Offices, as well as providing graffiti removal services to the entire community.
In addition, the Department provides residents with current community information through the Buena Park Today city news and activity guide, delivered to all households every quarter.
Ralph B. Clark Regional Park

The park sits atop a prehistoric fossil site and features a museum with 6,000 square feet of space, housing a number of full skeletons including a saber-toothed cat, a mammoth and a sloth. The park lake is stocked with bass and the parks offers picnic tables, playgrounds, and ball fields.
Independence Hall

This replica of Independence Hall is located in Knott's Berry Farm, adjacent to the main park area. The liberty bell situated there weighs only five pounds less than the original, and the building is nearly exact as the real one in Philadelphia.

Brooks Street Art in Public Places
At its meeting on Monday, April 26, the Arts Commission will review proposals by three finalists to install art work at the beach access at Brooks Street. Finalists Marlo Bartels, Cheryl Ekstrom and Andrew Myers will present their design proposals and concepts. Following review, the Commission will make a recommendation to the City Council. The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.
